Welcome to Allergist on Wings 🪶

I’m excited to share with you my journey of growth and adventure as a soon-to-be allergist/immunologist aiming to bring allergy care towards underserved areas both locally and abroad.

A bit about me 👩🏻

I am an artist and a singer at heart who ended up choosing the profession of medicine. I am proud of my field of allergy/immunology, which is one of the happiest specialties to be in. Every day, we improve the lives of our patients in tangible ways, whether it is allergic rhinitis, food allergy, drug allergy, reproductive immunology, immune deficiency, or beyond. The field is rapidly changing with new ideas constantly being discussed and put into practice. And this profession as a whole is welcoming of us younger physicians.

What to expect in this blog? 🛩️

I will be sharing a blend of my personal experiences from daily life and insights from my travels. Do check out my photo albums of some previous trips I have done as a medical resident traveling to various places in Africa or up North. I may post some music-related media as well. Most importantly, I’ll show you my journey of combining allergy and global health. It's going to be an exciting journey, and I'm eager to grow with you.
